Miss A {sneak peak}

Here are a few more pictures from Miss A’s session in Winter Park at Rollins College.I love these pictures of little Miss A…. Isn’t she just adorable? I can’t wait for her 9 month session. We’re working on something super cute and GIRLY!

Saturday {sneak peaks}

Yesterday I had sessions all day in Winter Park at Rollins College and on Park Ave by the train station. It was a long but fun day, especially because I was able to have a last minute lunch with friends and a trip to Colonial Photo and Hobby.

Here are pictures from every session I had yesterday. More will be coming soon, but I’m waiting on a birth to progress a little more so I can join the parents to be soon! Wish them luck and thanks to everyone who shared their day with me yesterday!

{Miss A} I met Miss A for her newborn session almost 6 months ago. She has changed so much and is so sweet. Have to love how she quickly locates her daddy’s voice!

{Babies A and B} You may remember these two from their newborn session. They have grown so much! I can’t wait to see these two at their one year session when they each have a smash cake!

{The Y Family} These two made me laugh. A finding snails everywhere we went and D’s faces. Have to love the look he gave me hanging off the chair : )

{Miss S} I met Miss S and her lovely parents at her newborn session 6 months ago. She is still easy going and as sweet as can be. Love her in the pearls and ballet skirt!

{The W family} This is the new addition to this family, isn’t he adorable? And Mrs W is such a strong person. She broke her leg before she had this little guy and is still in a walking cast! She is amazing!

{The boys} I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised with how fantastic these guys were the whole time I was with them. They were amazing, funny, sweet, and so smart!

{The H family} I love that when I asked Mrs H how adventurous they were feeling, she said they were up for anything! Even we I suggested sitting in the middle of the road and laughed when I told them I would watch their backs if they watched mine (as I was laying on the ground in the middle of the road). You have to wonder what people thought, but I don’t really care because I love this picture!

Miss F: CLass of 2011 {Part 2}

Remember Miss F from the sneak peak last week? Here is part 2 of her session. I still can’t pick a favorite picture from her session!

Mr R {part 2}

Remember this little man from his sneak peak? Here are some more pictures from his session. Don’t you just love his expressions?

Wish upon a wedding

Have you heard of Wish Upon a Wedding ? They are a nonprofit wish granting organization providing weddings and vow renewals for couples who are facing terminal illness. Pretty amazing, huh?

They have chapters all over the country including Northern California, Southern California, Chicago, St. Louis, The Carolinas,  Colorado, DC area, Portland, Houston, Atlanta, Ohio, Las Vegas, Miami, and Orlando!

Mady Joe Photography is donating a full day of wedding coverage to this organization and you can check out the items up for auction here. The event is in Orlando October 11-14. So tell everyone you know to help out this cause!

I remember finding out I was pregnant for the first time, I told myself I would be completely happy if this baby would be totally healthy and I had to give up everything else I wanted and hoped for in life. I thought the same thing when we found out I was pregnant with our little girl. Lucky for me, both of our children are healthy {knock on wood!}, but there isn’t a time that it doesn’t cross my mind that they too may end up with diabetes. After all, I was healthy until shorty before I was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes in September 1990. I was only 7 and in second grade. I remember telling my mom in the doctors office it was okay and not a big deal. I sincerely hope that I never have to listen to one of my children tell me the same thing because they don’t know any better.

Being diabetic changed my little world. It still isn’t fun. I have a huge fear of needles because of it {hello no epidurals for me!} and hate, hate, hate any blood work my doctors make me get. You would think I would be over the needle thing, but it has only gotten worse over the years. I would almost rather run a marathon {is it freezing and rainy in January at the Disney Marathon? I may just deal with the needles after that freezing experience!}

I want to do something to help find a cure for this disease that impacts so many people. There are walks and other ways to help, but I want to do something that will bring more awareness than just me doing the walks or sending in donations. What am I planning with help from great friends?

A wedding vendor auction! Mady Joe Photography and  Cayden Lane Photography are teaming up with Paulina Perez who is an amazing make-up artist! She was voted the best in Jacksonville by the theknot.com and weddingchannel.com. She’s pretty amazing and such a giving person.

The services will be auctioned off with all the proceeds benefitting Northeast Chapter of the Juvenile diabetes research foundation. So, keep checking the blog for more details!

If you’re a wedding vendor and interested in also donating your services to help this cause, please e-mail me at MadyJoePhotography@gmail.com. We could really use your help!

Cutest kid contest winner {sneak peak}

I had my session today with the winner of my cutest kid contest held on Facebook. I adore this family, I was lucky enough to be able to photograph Daddy’s homecoming through my first Operation Love Reunited session. And it was the first time he met this adorable guy! Doesn’t that just make you thankful even more for what military families endure for everyone in our country?

I was so excited to be able to see Mr. R again and see how much he has grown and changed since our first meeting. Lucky for me, I had the best babysitting deal EVER and we had a great location and session because of it!

Here are a few sneak peaks for you! Can’t wait to watch this family grow and change through my lens, they make the sessions so easy and enjoyable!
