As I slowly come back from maternity leave and adjust to life as a mom of three, my first session back was with this lovely couple who have been on my blog a lot! Engagement, wedding, an after the wedding session at Disney, a couple of sessions just for fun, and now….their maternity session! Can’t wait to meet their new addition when he arrives in just a few weeks!

We recently welcomed a new baby boy just in time for Christmas {making our daughter a big sister for the first time!}, my husband celebrated one year in his {not really anymore} new position, our oldest son joined his first soccer team and started VPK, my husband and I took a trip {just us}, and I continued working on my business. I photographed births, weddings, children, couples and engagements, families, and homecomings. I caught up with clients and met new ones that quickly became friends. 2011 was a pretty good year.
To say thank you to all current clients, and introduce a brand new pricing structure for sessions, I am waiving the artist fee for one session for all current Mady Joe Photography clients. The only ‘catch’ is that the session must be completed prior to August 1, 2012 and must take place in St Augustine or Orlando.
The biggest differences between last years pricing are the lack of digital images included in the session and that mini sessions will no longer be offered year round. Mini sessions will only be for specials through out the year.

So, now I am playing catch up! I had a lot of fun with this family. They introduced me to a location I didn’t even know existed; those are always the best!
It was so nice to see an extended family that really seems like a family unit and seemed to have a great relationship! Mrs H said how lucky they are that their sons found such wonderful women and that they have great families. And it’s true!
Here are a few pictures from their session and soon they will have the gallery password to check out ALLLL the pictures from their session. They have a lot of great ones!

I know it’s only September, but I always offer specials at the end of the year and since this year the end of the year will be a little hectic with a new baby, I thought I would get a head start!
My prices will NOT be increasing in 2012, but the things included in the sessions will be. As of January 1, 2012, a mini session will still be 30 minutes for up to two people and will include 5 images of your choice on a DVD with a print release. As of January 1, 2012, a full session will be one hour with up to five people and will include 12 images of your choice on a DVD with a print release. You are welcome to add additional people to your session; each additional person is $25 plus sales tax.
If you book your 2012 session before December 1, 2011 you will be able to take advantage of this years session prices and the things included. A $100 retainer/deposit is due. The sessions will take place after February 1, 2012 and anytime before September 1, 2012!
Family Session Sneak Peak {World Golf Village, St Augustine, Florida Photographer}

A quick sneak peak from my session in the World Golf Village area last weekend. Can you tell I’m a huge fan of black and white pictures? I, personally, think that black and white looks timeless and sometimes takes distractions in a picture and you really see the image. Obviously, I’m a huge fan of color as well, but I’ve always been drawn to black and white 🙂

This sessions was really fun. Extended family plus celebrating the twins first birthdays made for a lot of laughing and great pictures! Little Miss B was not so excited about the pictures and little Mr A was not excited about the cake, but Miss B was very happy to have a treat after all the picture taking 🙂
And this is what it looks like behind the scenes 🙂
