Nights of Lights {Historic St Augustine}

Have I mentioned how much I love living in St Augustine? There are always so many things to do here, it’s pretty, the beach….. Over the weekend we went to the World Golf Village Festival of Trees and to HistoricSt Augustine for the Nights of Lights! We had never been to either, so it was nice to be able to go and take part in some of the holiday festivities in the area.  We saw the The Loring MemorialLightner Museum, and The Casa Monica all aglow with lights. There was also a regatta of lights we missed, but the kids were too cold so hopefully next year we will see it. If you’re in the area, you should go! My husband and I are planning on going again Thursday night, just the two of us {a REAL date}!

Our son checking out the lights!

I do not remember the name of this shop, but I will find out because I LOVE this and cannot believe someone actually made it. I must get a special treat there because everything looked so fantastic!

New Products!

I am so excited that I got my order from Loktah! I love these CD holders, I think they are so different and fun. They have so many to choose from that I could not make up my mind! Check them out! Awesome packaging for your CD for your next session : )

This is a 10×10 metal print with a float mount on the back so you do not need a frame to hang it up, it comes all ready to go! You can hang it on the wall or put it on an easel like this. Perfect for someone’s office!

These are 8×12 metal prints with a float mount!

Mini brag books are perfect to show off pictures to family and friends! They fit in your pocket or purse and are magnetic, so they will stick to your filing cabinet or fridge!

{class of 2013}

Last weekend was beyond chaotic for our family. Traveling back and forth to Orlando, packing the last of our house, our son visiting his grandparents…..we had a lot going on at the last minute. So, this session was a very welcomed break from all the stress. And it was fun! It was nice to be able to completely forget about everything else and just get to know Mr C and his mom a little bit. They are so nice, easy to talk with, and really made my job easy. I can’t wait to get to know them better over the next few years.

Whirlwind.

There are not any other words to describe the last few months in our lives, not that I am complaining. But the past 6 months have been a complete whirlwind! On top of my husbands job, sessions, homecomings, weddings {guest and photographer!}, children’s birthday parties, children being sick. etc…… we’ve moved, twice, and I hope to not have to pack up our house for a very, very long time!

We’ve settled in St. Augustine in the World Golf Village area. And we love it! It’s nice to drive to the library and be able to roll down the window and smell the ocean.

But that’s enough about why I am so behind in blogging recent sessions! Here are a few from a family session in Orlando. I am so glad we were able to use this location, it almost didn’t happen between UCF‘s homecoming {we were originally planning to meet on campus!} and the fall festival where we were meeting! The best part about this session was meeting the family of Miss R before the wedding next year : )

LOVE this lens!

I finally got the Nikon 24-70 2.8. Sigh…. I love it. These are the first pictures I took with it of my poor, un-expecting friend. I guess I didn’t clarify what I meant when I asked her if she wanted to walk around Riverside. But really, don’t feel bad for her. She always dresses super cute and I’m more than a little jealous of that : )

Twinkle, twinkle little star. Do you know how loved you are?

I saw this quote and instantly thought of this sweet little girl! The meaning of her name is star and she is obviously adored by her parents, so it seems fitting. Love this age: exploring everywhere, everyday brings  a new discovery, the smiles, and laughter.
